I’m the person behind Travel Like Jess and the one spending a ridiculous amount of time finding fun places to take kids across the Northeast.
I live in the NYC area with my two kids, and I’ve been traveling with them since they were babies. I know how overwhelming planning family adventures can be when you’re juggling naps, snacks, and trying to figure out which places actually work for your family. That’s why I built Travel Like Jess. I create interactive maps and guides that do the planning for you. I research the destinations, organize the details, and map everything so you can open it, filter by what you need, and go. No more tabs. No more wondering if you picked the right place. Just clear, honest recommendations from someone who’s already been there or done the work to vet it.
A Little About Me
I’ve lived in and around NYC for almost 20 years and have been traveling with my kids from the very beginning, from city weekends and family road trips to tent camping and exploring small towns across the Northeast.
All of that exploring (and a lot of research) eventually turned into Travel Like Jess, a place to share the fun stuff I find with other families. Now I spend my days exploring, writing and mapping the best places to take kids so you can spend less time searching and more time making memories.
